I like how the lesson was held outdoors as the children had the space to work and create their shapes. If it was in the classroom, the children would have perhaps been more on top of each other so here there was space to work and explore. Additionally I like how the teacher had included clues about the formula in different places so that the children if they needed could actively go find it. This prevented a lot of direct questions to the teacher about formula and meant the children worked together and helped each other. The teacher was very good in her feedback as she would be positive and link back to objectives before trying to extend their learning.
Creative and imaginative. However I question how it assessed all of the children in each area she aimed to, the group was split to look at different beds these being of different shapes therefore some children.were not being assessed in working out circumference etc.
