Inter Waffle Break.
This week’s waffle is something a little bit different. Rather than letting work take over my waffling, I thought I would provide you with something to look/listen to rather than not waffling at all. So if you are interested, here are some of my past mathematics puzzles and interviews from the last year. If you want to see more of any then let me know.
Here is the video from the waffle about activities to help with the teaching of times tables. The video talks about ‘Timetable Tracks’ an activity I used to use as a starter or SODA activity.
When it was announced that Roman Numerals would be in the 2014 National Curriculum, I decided to get ahead of the game and present a couple of problems relating to this. If you want to here the solution, its here.
Something not to do with mathematics
If you fancy a puzzle that has nothing to do with mathematics, then here is something that you can either have a go at now, or wait until tomorrow morning and give it to the children in your class.
I haven’t done one of these for a while and should really get back into producing them, although I need to find some people to be willing to be victims…I mean participates. This one was one of the first with (soon to be president of the SU) Vice President of Education at the university.
